Ballet

Ballet is an essential foundation for all forms of dance. Ballet helps to coordinate the mind and body while improving poise and posture. Ballet is a confidence builder and promotes self-discipline.

02/

Tap

Fun and exciting, tap dance uses the sound of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussion instrument either to music or no music. Two major tap dances exist today: rhythm (jazz) tap and Broadway tap.

03/

Hip Hop

Hip-hop is an umbrella term used to describe styles of popping, locking, and breaking that evolved outside of the dance studios. What distinguishes hip-hop from other forms of dance is that it is often "freestyle", and is an enjoyable class for all ages.

04/

Advanced Hip Hop

Advanced Hip-Hop takes Hip-Hop to another level. This class is by referral only. It is much harder and allows the student to work without any limits. Students in this class must have some experience in dance, or has advanced from the Middle/High School Hip-Hop Class.

05/

Modern

Modern encourages movement through expression of inner feelings. Danced in bare feet or Lyrical Sandals, modern encourages a dancer to use their emotions and moods in their movement expression, incorporating both gravity and floor work into their technique.

06/

Mime

Mime is a silent praise. A non-verbal art that uses body movement in order to communicate.  The purpose of the Ministry of the Mime is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in a unique and powerful way. Through visualization, song and movements it is a way to express God's word.

07/

Liturgical

The Liturgical Dancer is one who expresses his or her faith through movement ministry in a public worship setting. The result and goal of this form of expression is spiritual communion with God.

08/

Flags

Throughout history, Flags and Banners have represented the beliefs and purposes of those who carry them. Flown as signals, rallying points and standards of identification, flags define battle lines, and give direction and encouragement. They declare the victory and identify the one in authority. They are an outward expression of the praise that is in our hearts.
